Thanks for your kind words about our support. We certainly try to help make things as clear as possible for all users.

As for the manage_pages and publish_pages, they were probably automatically checked/enabled when you went to submit for approval. Facebook will automatically select permissions that your app has requested. In your case, since you don't need to go through approval, you can uncheck them. I think you can click the "Items in Review" link in the Status & Review section as well to determine if they were submitted and, hopefully, remove them from the approval request.

I hope that helps, and keep us posted on how things go.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks Alex, I see I have to re-submit in order to be able to check or uncheck the boxes for particular permissions or actions. I will check Recommend under action types, publish_actions under login permissions, and I don't think anything else needs to be checked.

I noticed that Google+ wasn't logging in automatically. Well, what was required was that a profile for a new user had to be completed first and then Clicking the G+ icon in the Login tray would log the user in automatically. The only thing that gets inserted from Google is the users Gmail account. Attached is what a post looks like on Google+

File Attachment:

But essentially everything is working correctly and the recommend button is working in the test account. I noticed that it creates essentially the same post on the users timeline as the share action does, plus the share action gives a preview of what the post that the Recommend button doesn't. The only problem with the "Share" button is that the popup are opening under the main browser window rather than on top.

I wanted to be able to have my events page included in the Events tab, but this isn't the part of JFBConnect. Because of that I removed that request so that we can get the JFBConnect business handled first.

This is what Facebook says however:

Our review team will use this page to test your Page Tab app. Your Page Tab app must be installed on this page. Only pages that you admin will appear in the dropdown.
No eligible pages - or - Create a New Page

Thanks Alex, is that your new son?

We will be enabling more JFBConnect features as time goes on, If I should have any trouble with those I will let you know. But now that we are approved for everything on Facebook, I think that everything else should go pretty smoothly.

Thanks Alex, is that your new son?

No, that's actually our first girl from a long time ago. I had to update my Facebook picture to do some tests and then I logged in here and it updated. I'll probably switch it back in a few days to my more 'professional' look :)

Thanks again for your patience and glad you got things going,
Alex
