We are having an issue with the users Avatars not coming through on ES after they used JFBC to register with the social account, e.g. Facebook.

I have logged a ticket with StackIdeas and Mark has replied saying the following:

"Based on what I am seeing on the site, JFBConnect most likely did not insert the appropriate information in the avatars table of EasySocial. Hence, these avatars aren't appearing in EasySocial. It's best that you get in touch with Alex from Sourcecoast to take a look into this. When a user signs up with JFBConnect, the entire process are handled by JFBConnect."

Secondly:

We always had issue when sharing a post to Facebook that the post's image does not show in the share the first time you try and share... Only after trying a few times then the image appears...

However, this was strangely working correctly in the last version of JFBC until we did the v6.4.0 as well as the ES v1.3.28 update and ran into an issue on ES with a broken image link url issue. That issue was fixed and the Facebook sharing image issue re-appeared.

When it worked, it actually placed a smaller image in the share post on the left next to the text from the linked post. Then as soon as you post it it appeared also correctly in Facebook, image at top and linked text below.

I don't know if these issues could have any link between them, but I thought I'd mention it.

Could you please assist.

What versions of JFBConnect and EasySocial are you using? Lower you in your post, you mention JFBC v6.4 and ES v1.3.28, but want to make sure that's correct for this issue as well.

Also, when did this start happening? Was it after you updated either one of those extensions, or both?

Can you explain this more? What was the broken image link url issue and what was the behavior when it was 'broken'. You mention:

What was the smaller image.. the broken image, the og:image you'd expect, or something else?

Let us know and we'll gladly help investigate further. Also, if you can 'undo' the fix and re-create the broken image problem again for testing, that may help re-confirm the issue was fixed and also help give us ideas as to what may be happening.
