First, you've been a customer for a very long time. Can you determine when these problems seem to have started? Have you changed hosts, plans or anything else that may have changed your server configuration?
You mention "and everything seems to work fine prior to changing site ." What did you change? Just the domain name, or hosts as well?
JFBConnect contacts the same URLs on Facebook that we've always contacted for the last 3 years, so nothing has really changed in our software regarding this.
A "name lookup timeout" is just that.. the server lookup for the IP address that corresponds to a domain name isn't responding correctly. So, when JFBConnect says "Contact graph.facebook.com", your server isn't able to determine how to do that. That's not something we can usually fix in our software.
A few things I'd recommend to in the JFBConnect Configuration area are:
* Set the Cache Duration to '0' (disabling it)
* Set the "Disable SSL Certificate Validation" to "Yes"
* Set "Debug Mode" to "Yes"
Then, test again and see if things work or if better errors are shown.
2.) When trying to invite Facebook friends (Invitez vos amis de Facebook) on the left near top part of the site, I receive the error:
Game Requests are only available to games.
Unfortunately, in early May, Facebook upgraded all apps to Graph API v2.0. One of the changes is that only apps that are in the "Game" category can send requests. We're still deciding how we want to handle this going forward. For now, you have 2 choices:
* Edit your Facebook Application and move it to the "Games" category
* Discontinue using the Friend Request feature
