Can't authenticate myself as a facebook user

Can't create a channel because I have not facebook authenticated users - how do I get myself authenticated? my joomla user account has same email address as my facebook account.

Thanks, that was helpful. I changed the log-in type from jomsocial to jfbconnect. When I logged in via the facebook button my jomsocial account was linked to my facebook account. Now when I try to make myself the owner of the facebook channel I get this message: "The selected user has not granted the "manage_pages" permission. Please have them login on the front-end of the site and accept the correct permission." I can't find where to grant the manage pages permission through the front end of the site. Where do I find the dialog that lets me do this?

Forget the last question - I realized I needed to create a jfbconnect menu where I can change settings etc.
