This what I am seeing on mobile for my comments.

I recently changed the comments parameters from a pixel width to a percentage because it never displayed correctly on mobile making the layout scroll from left to right. But now it is worse. Is there a setting I'm missing to make these comments responsive? It seems to be working fine on larger screens.

Please check out this other thread , which discusses this issue. Facebook is in the process of upgrading their comment box and, in the process, they broke the 'old' box.. and won't fix it.

The minor code change in that post should fix your issue. We're also planning a similar fix for the next release of JFBConnect.

We also released JFBConnect v6.4 yesterday which fixes this issue, as well as a few other compatibility updates for Facebook and LinkedIn integration.
