Topic-icon Kunena - Clicking Facebook login button does nothing

Hi all,

I have been setting up JFBConnect today on a new site using Kunena - I have the app settings configured and have run through the site check, and all comes back fine, the Facebook login button is showing on the forum login area, but when I click the login button nothing happens? I have tried in IE11, Chrome and Firefox and they all act the same.

Is there anything I may have missed?

Thanks,

Chris

Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong site (the one that you last ran Autotune for), but when I attempted to go to your forum area in my Chrome browser, I was able to register and then subsequently log in with my Facebook credentials. You can see the user 'melsou' in your backend and that it's mapped to my test Facebook account.

Could you provide me the specific URL to look at and also any other details that could help me to reproduce it on your site? Are there any errors in the Javascript console for your browser developer tools area?

How strange :) Maybe it is my computer, I will try another as your account has registered fine, the URL from autotune will be correct.

Thanks!

I do see a Java error in the console:

SCRIPT5009: 'FB' is undefined
File: jfbconnect.js, Line: 42, Column: 13

Strange. I am able to log in just fine from both Chrome and Firefox. Can you check to see if you have any privacy extensions like ghostery installed/enabled for your browsers? These can prevent Facebook communication from working correctly with Javascript.

Thanks Mel, it must be a firewall issue in the day time as from home it works fine :)

That would do it. If you run into the issue again (with no firewall or other security add-ons), please let us know.
