Having a user's status updates in JomSocial post back to Facebook does not use the Open Graph system. For that, you can simply enable the Social Profiles - JomSocial plugin and in the Profiles configuration area, enable the "Push status updates to social network" setting.to allow people to share posts in Jomsocial to their personal time lines.
Not for Open Graph Actions. SSL is required to use the Facebook Canvas or Page Tab areas, which is where you can show your site within Facebook.com, like:Also, Do I need to have a SSL certificate to make this all work.
For this, you'll simply need an SSL certificate on your site and to run Autotune. JFBConnect will set things up for you and then you just need to visit your app on Facebook by going to apps.facebook.com/<your_namespace>Yes, Id love to be able to have our main web site open on Facebook as your site does!
With JFBConnect, you have an option in the Profiles -> JomSocial area to automatically push users posts to Facebook. That's an automatic process though and the user can only opt-in or out of that based on if they grant the permission to post on their behalf when the authenticate with Facebook. After that, JFBConnect can post for them.I guess our biggest need is for people to be able to share a post from Jomsocial back to Facebook and control where it would be shared. Like on their timeline or in another group.
There's lots of different areas that JFBConnect can help integrate with Facebook. Everything you may want isn't guaranteed to be there though as we support what our users have requested over the users. Right now, for JomSocial specifically, that means:Im just having a lot of push back from my co founder cause jom social even with the jfbc connect plug in doesn't share or act as much like facebook as they like.
