Compatibility with e-mail as user name plugin

There are two settings in the JFBConnect general configuration area that will relate to this: 'Auto Username Prefix' and 'Username Field on Registration'. Have you tried setting the Auto Username Prefix to "email"? It sounds as if you have Automatic Registration disabled, so when brought to the login/register page, the username will generated from the email address. You can also try setting the Username Field on Registration to "Generate and Show" or playing around with the different values. Try updating these two settings to see if this gets you closer to the behavior you're wanting, and let us know if you run into more problems.
