"Login" missing was created by jchungerford
I just noticed that the "Log in" wording in the JomSocial integration is missing but it is present in the component user login. Take a look.

How can I get this wording to show?

I think you've attached the wrong image. Please update to the correct one(s) with the social login buttons.

Hi Mel, I implemented the fix (both direct and with override) and after clearing cache in server and client it doesn't seem to take?

Strange, doing that code change worked for me on my test site. What version of JomSocial are you using? Do any other changes that you make to the file take effect? Is the new code still in the file? If not, could you put it back in so that we can look at the source and maybe the login text is there but hidden.

The code is still there in the file and I haven't made any other changes. I've attached the file here:
frontpageguests.php

Looks correct to me. If you'd be willing to send me FTP credentials and backend login credentials, it might be easier for me to poke around to see why that change isn't taking effect. If you're not, please let me know the version of JomSocial and if changing anything else in that file takes effect (Thinking it may be a different view in the new version, or something is cached somehow even though you've tried clearing it)

Thanks for the credentials. The text is now there. JomSocial 4 changed the location of the file to edit. It is now /components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/frontpage/guest.php. You should be good now, but let us know if you need anything else.
