Here are some suggestions to help us narrow down the issue:

1. Turn on logging in the JFBConnect general configuration area and error reporting to Maximum or Development in the Joomla Global Configuration area to see if there are any error messages being reported
2. Disable any caching settings (like in global config), other cache extensions or plugins (such as the System - Cache plugin)
3. If you have any redirection extensions, such as SH404SEF, please exclude JFBConnect URLs from them.
4. If you have JomSocial Redirect plugin enabled, please turn off the settings for the redirect login URLs.
5. If you have CB System plugin, please disable the 'Redirect URLs' option in the Parse URLs tab.

These are usually the most common causes of behavior like you're seeing, so let me know if any of these actions has an effect on the problem and we'll go from there.

Please set sh404SEF to have JFBConnect use "no router". Right now, after the login from Facebook, there are multiple redirections that eventually end up on a URL like:

/component/jfbconnect/?code=AQAmTR9M2nPv76eYwC_rbY_SRMmlrFMrcVF5H_uZeC7TmuSW48kEgXzmwZjZMcvqKUSP1yFunRayoHjDOyulH8AEDGPzqIOSU1m8pSvBYsK2Kd2GIGUjn4w30hdDof-X-sg46NymqsDKZqbsBq34Tfb8ahniIqbTcanIMLNCtr4uQF6E4ij2ljYNlOy5k91hoZxlkWkb80K3YBPieBVgwOfLCyNag-eE-pDEDtqD51MBAM_pkU9_HxGq-qGwVjMmveY93q837TxmOoytoLia7PKxJskkNrMdajIM8iaBU69yJxz2x6t9u43qXMIJUZDhJJQ&lang=fr&provider=facebook&state=7c5374b3f07aaa9b5fe69ce4321ad51e&task=authenticate.callback

That doesn't look like what JFBConnect is expecting and is likely the cause of the problems.

Change that setting and hopefully you should be good to go.

Thanks,
Alex

Yes, you need an SSL certificate on your site to use the Facebook Page Tab or Canvas features. That's a requirement of Facebook itself to display your site within Facebook.com

I hope that helps answer your question,
Alex
