How link to or display FB page canvas?

When you have your site displayed within a Facebook Canvas area, you can create direct links to it, like:
apps.facebook.com/joomla-extensions/
Or even deep-link to specific content, like:
apps.facebook.com/joomla-extensions/jfbconnect
Where "joomla-extensions" is the name of the namespace you chose for your Facebook Application.

1. Click through from my site to canvas...is it a custom HTML article? or is there a button/icon to do it?

I'm still not sure what you mean here. When you go to the Canvas, it loads the home page of your site 'inside' the Facebook Canvas area. We don't have a custom button to link to your canvas area, but you can use standard HTML to link to the Canvas area wherever and however you want.
