G+1: I'm unsure what's happening here. Google has always supported the og: tags on the page. However, in testing your page and a few others, it seems like they've recently started ignoring those tags. Their tool looks to just be scraping the page contents itself. Since your page has no real text on it that it can use for the description, that looks to be why not description is being shown. My only suggestion is to *try* adding an intro or short paragraph at the bottom of the page describing what the page is about and see if that's used in the description area.

Front-end Editing I just logged into the front-end with those credentials. The only editing icon I could find is below and it seemed right to me. I didn't try to edit because I didn't want to mess things up and (again) it didn't look corrupt like you pictured above. Can you give specific directions on which page or icon I should be looking at?

G+ If you go one level deeper to the File page www.watchawear.com/watches/watch-faces/d...-faces/83-fleye.html, and check the Google+ button, it is not pulling anything, however, when I visit another site like facerepo.com, the description is visible in the Google+ box. So I am lost.

Front-End-Editing Try on the home page and try to find the editing icon for the modules, they don't always show up until I disable JFBConnect Plugin. Once they are visible, turn on the JFBConnect plugin, then try to find them, and then hover. And like I stated, If I edit and try to save the module, When it re-directs, the trailing slash behind the .com disappears. I manually enter the / back into the URL and the correct page loads.

The even stranger thing, is on the home page, google can pull the description, but not in my download section.

I don't think there's much we'll be able to do about the Google+ description showing. The tags and other markup on the page look correct. Even on the pages you mention that work, the description is being taken from various spots (the meta description, the content area) and not necessarily the Open Graph tags. Google is a behemoth that knows how to crunch data and their algorithms decide which information is useful and which isn't. I'm not sure why no description is shown, but that may be a question you have to post on their support forums to get assistance with.

I'll try to look into the front-end editing issue later today as that's something we can help with if the JFBCSystem plugin is related how you mention above.

Thanks,
Alex

I have discovered some of the power of your tags. I have gotten all pages to display picture, title and description in both Google+ and FaceBook. The only place it does not show description now is on the actual file page.

The css/format issue, I await your conclusion. Thanks, this is an excellent product! I love it.

I'm glad to hear you're getting the hang of the tags. There's definitely a lot of power in JFBConnect, but we understand that it can take a bit of work to fully understand it all.

As for front-end editing, when testing on the home page, I did see the CSS issue. I re-ordered the JFBCSystem plugin so it was the first in the ordering, and that seemed to fix that issue.

When performing the editing, I wasn't able to see the trailing slash problem. Can you give more information on what page to edit from and when you see the / problem and what issue it actually causes?

Thanks,
Alex

Trailing slash issue seems to be gone, however the css issue is still there.

I'm not sure what we can do about the styling issue. There's obviously some sort of conflict there with some CSS or Javascript we're inserting and what's on your page. However, are you the only super admin on your site that sees the edit module button? Is the CSS styling causing any real functional issues right now or are there any other CSS issues that are visible to general visitors that you're aware of?

Not saying we can't, or won't, help figure out the CSS issue, but it sounds like a very low priority issue if it matters at all to you.

Let us know how detrimental the graphical issue is to your site overall.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex, I can certainly live with it, I will continue to investigate however. If I discover the issue, I will gladly return to explain. Thank you for your outstanding support! I am very pleased.
