Hi there,

On one of our sites I want users to do a registration via FB. After hitting the FB button the user receives an email to confirm the registration. After that the administrator has to approve the account and the user can login via the FB button. Pretty basic I think.

This works perfectly on windows pc, android tablet and android phones. But not on Iphone/Ipad.
The user never gets the conformation email. They only get a popup that they are logged in through Facebook. (what isn’t the case yet)
I also tried the basic Joomla template, and have run the Autotune. Nothing.

What’s wrong?

I'm not sure what's happening there. I can see the same behavior when I test with an iPad though.

Looking at your site's HTML, it seems very odd. The whole page you're working on is just a frame to another site. My guess is that Facebook isn't liking the framing of the content and is not allowing the authentication to proceed. That could be a security feature of Safari as well. I'm just not sure.

I'd recommend trying to go directly to the destination domain of the frame elan.boekhout-multimedia.nl and test from there when the Facebook application is setup to use that domain.

My guess is that you'll have much better luck that way.

Hi Alex,

I think you're completely right! I forwarded the url with an iframe so that the domainname stayed the same. (for testing)
It seems indeed that Safari has a problem with that. Never thought of that. In the original domain it works like it should.
