In the JFBConnect admin area -> Profiles -> JomSocial section, there is an option for "Pull status from Facebook". Disable that setting and it should do what you want.

Sorry, the name I gave was the older one. The setting I meant was "Import Social Network Status". Set that to "No" and the user's status won't be imported.

In the configuration picture above, the "Import Avatar" setting is "No". If you want the user's avatar photo, you need to set that to yes. You may also want to check the following other options:
* "Always Import Profile" - Enable this if you want the user's profile data and avatar to be imported when the login. Set to "No" if you only want their profile to be imported during registration
* "Import Cover Photo" - Right now, it's disabled. Enable to import the cover photo.

Is there any way to chose which profile to import.

I'm not sure what you mean here. User's have only one profile on each social network.
