Hello;

Can anyone suggest how to rectify this issue below, 1 error and 1 warning. Seems face book grabbed the first image off my site and it doesn't meet there image size requirement. I have added {SCOpenGraph image=http://dentrepairtoronto.com/images/home-1.jpg} to the body of that article and still an error. and no idea how to rectify this. And below values set to different values.
Error This page has both an og:url tag and a rel="canonical" tag, but they are set to different values. The Open Graph information shown below may not be used by Facebook.
Warning The og:image tag is missing..

Your home page looks to be a list of featured articles, not a particular article, so I'm not sure where you actually added the Open Graph Image tag. I went ahead into your backend and added the image you specified above in JFBConnect > Open Graph > Configuration > Defaults setting. Rescraping the page page on socialdebug.com shows there is an image tag now.

While I was doing this, I noticed that you had the following values in the "Skip Tags" setting - tag-1 and tag-2. This seems to be incorrect, unless you have special og:tag-1 and og:tag-2 tags you are adding to the page. It is not meant for any content tagging for categorization.

Error This page has both an og:url tag and a rel="canonical" tag, but they are set to different values. The Open Graph information shown below may not be used by Facebook.

If you use www.dentrepairtoronto.com/ for socialdebug.com, you do not get this error. If you use www.dentrepairtoronto.com/ then you will. The canonical tag looks proper in both. But it looks like JFBConnect is setting the og:url tag for both cases to www.dentrepairtoronto.com/, which is incorrect for the http site.

[Edited to add]The cause of JFBConnect setting the og:url tag to https for the http site is that you have configured the JFBConnect > Configuration > 'Force Scheme' setting to https. Setting it to None will allow JFBConnect to use the URL it deems best, and would clear up the problem. I have left the setting as 'https' as you have configured it, so it is up to you whether to switch it to None or not.

Thanks Again Melissa;

That's interesting as I found JFB connect added those two tags within configuration open graph, set within skip tags, tag-1 and tag-2. This afternoon i deleted them both to see what would happen and no change. So now i have set force scheme to none http and https , and run social debug again and got scored A AAAAAA all the way down. Your a star Melissa again.

Can not thank you enough :D :D :D

Strange for the tags, but I'd say leave them out.

Glad this got your warnings resolved. This was a lot easier than the other issues :)

Hi Melissa;

You can't see this but I'm smiling from ear to ear, been working on these 2 websites for almost 2 months. With your expert help and adding JFB Connect to my Joomla template was the best thing I've ever done. And to think I almost deleted the JFBConnect and gave up. But patience prevailed and hard work paid off.

So what's the next step, my other site I can not integrate JFBConnect as you mentioned and it's only scoring A 100% in web searches so the rest of the social media is F all the way down. You sure I can't add it with all new social media sites, actually my other Joomla site has separate social media, except face book and Google + are shared by both sites

I wasn't trying to say that you cannot add it to the other site. I wanted to focus on getting the social networks logging in on your current dentrepairtoronto.com website first, before attempting to add more complexity. I would say it's stable enough and working now, that you should go ahead. Just realize that you will either a) have to add the new subdomains/domains to the existing applications or b) set up new applications and link them to your second site (this wouldn't be terrible as you know the settings that work now).
