That's strange and not a problem we've heard of before. First, if you're using the JomSocial registration flow with JFBConnect, then the activation skipping will not work. Since they are going through the JomSocial registration, we can't override the activation that is performed at the end of that flow.

If you're using JFBConnect for registration or automatic registration, it should work though. If that's the case, please let us know any other user or authentication plugins you have enabled. It's possible one of them is interfering with our registration process and not allowing activation to happen properly.

Thanks

Hi Mel
I`m using the jomsocial registration flow together with jfbc, so it must be the reason.
to bad, because it enables the account, but just not the activation.

Thanks Mel

While it might not be the answer you're looking for, the behavior is working as intended and I'm glad that it's not an actually something going wrong on your site.

Hi Mel

Thanks alot for the info.

Since I`m not a programmer, does that mean,
that if the account gets enabled, all things will work for the user (I´m thinking acl rights and stuff).
even the account is not activated ??

Sorry for the confusion.

Best regards
Bison

If the account is not activated, it means the user will not be able to log in until they click on the link in the activation email that was sent to them on registration. Also, depending on how you have activation configured in the User Manager options, an administrator may also need to perform the activation. However, all of the permissions/groups/etc should be set up correctly for the user.
