It's not clear enough for me, how to setting up JFBConnect with facebook, when we use facebook pages for our company

is it possible to do that and are there some tips and tricks

I've created on my own facebook account an app-id
I'm one of the three administrators of our business page

I want users on our public business website with joomla 3.x to Show an article on facebook (post) and that they can react on it or (un)like

and of course other tips and tricks

Ruud,
There's a few different ways to connect your website to your existing Facebook Page. However, please realize that Facebook treats both very separately and there's only so much interaction allowed between the two.

I'm not really sure exactly what you mean here. When you add Facebook authentication to your site, you need to create a Facebook Application. That's completely separate from your Facebook Page. When users authenticate, they are granting permissions to your Application, and that has nothing to do with your Page.

Once authentication works though, you can use JFBConnect to pull in the feed from your Facebook Page or push content from your site to the Page. For more information on that, see our Facebook Page Posting Configuration Guide . You can see an example feed at the bottom of this page in the SCSocial Stream module.

When user's click the Like button on a page of your site, they are Like'ing that page. They aren't Like'ing your Facebook Page. You can add a Like button for your Page using the SCSocial Widget module and configuring either the Facebook -> Like button (a simple button) or the Facebook -> Like Box (a Page specific Like button which can also show recent posts to your Page).

The JFBCContent plugin can also be enabled and configured in the JFBConnect -> Social area. That allows you to automatically add social sharing/like buttons and a Facebook Comment box to your content automatically.

You should make it clear when a Like button is for the current URL (the content on your site) vs a "Like our Facebook Page" button though so as not to confuse your users.

and of course other tips and tricks

There's really a ton you can do with JFBConnect. However, we recommend taking it slowly and adding what you need. Of course if you have any "Can I?" or "How do I?" questions, just let us know, and we'll gladly help however we can.

Thanks,
Alex
