Hello,

on our website www.klasse-gemacht.de we have changed to SSL, so the complete Website will work on https://
Now we have three problems:
1) Some Users can not log on to our website

2) the social buttons on the left side will not shown the correkt number of likes, all will be reset to 0

3) the buttons will not be loaded allways, some times buttons will not shown

Thanks best regards Thomas

Glad to hear you upgraded to always-on SSL. It's the best, most secure way to run a site. There are always difficulties when switching to forced SSL, but hopefully we can help you through the issues you're having.

1) For this, we'll need a lot more information. How are the users trying to login? Are they using Joomla or social network credentials? Are they logging in using the SCLogin module or something else? Is there any error message that appears?

2) All social networks use the exact URL to track share counts. When your URLs changed from http:// to https://, that changed the URL, which is why your counts reset to 0. The old counts are still intact on the http:// URLs. What you can do is set the "Force Scheme" setting in the JFBConnect -> Configuration area to "http://". That will make all sharing features use the http:// URL. Your site should still redirect the user to https:// though and you'll keep the original sharing counts from before the switch.

3) Again, more information will help here. What buttons aren't showing? The Facebook Like, or something else? If there's a specific page that you see this happen on, please let us know and we'll gladly help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex
