I've only 1 friend icon that displays for the JFBCFriends module. I've set the rows and URL and have plenty of likes, but only 1 icon. Presently I'm displaying the module as content in an article (via modules anywhere). Although I've displayed just the module for testing purposes and the result is the same.

The icons displayed on the page are not for who liked your page, but for only YOUR friends that have liked your page. The facepile widget in the page source looks like we're setting it up correctly, so are you sure that you have more than one friend that has liked the page?

Here's the blurb from Facebook from developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/facepile

The plugin only displays friends photos. If the person viewing the plugin does not have friends who have liked your page or have connected to your site, no faces will be shown.

If you are displaying people who have liked your page, and nobody has liked it yet, the plugin will render nothing. If some people have liked your page, but none of the viewing person's friends have liked it, the plugin will display the total number of people who have liked your page.

If you are displaying people who have connected to your site, and none of the viewing person's friends have connected yet, the plugin will render nothing.

Thanks, I didn't see this sooner answer. Is there any way through JFBConnect to display all the images of those who have liked a page? It seems like it used to display like that, maybe something changed?

In short, no, this is not possible. JFBConnect has not changed it's implementation of the Facepile social plugin in a very, very long time. If you're seeing any change in functionality from what it used to have, this is purely from what functionality Facebook has provided and perhaps that has changed over time. However, we have no control over this.

This is really disappointing and seems to completely defeat what I was trying to achieve with JFBConnect. I am a teacher of investing and finance in high school and have created the site investeach.com to house my original learning content. I have created a page facebook.com/investeach and am posting there. I have connected this page to investeach.com through JFBConnect. I cannot have my students are friends, but it's not a problem if they like my Investeach Facebook page. Several are doing so. Is there any way at all through your program (or through some other approach like creating another Facebook account) that I can show the faces of people who like the Investeach Facebook page at Investeach.com???

It sounds like there's some confusion here. Originally, we thought you were wanting to show the pictures of users who liked a specific URL on your website. That is not possible.

However, if you want to show info (like count, avatars and even the stream) from a Facebook Page, that is possible. To do so, please configure the SCSocial Widget as Facebook -> Like Box and enter the URL to the Facebook Page you want to show info from.

That should get things going for you, but if you have any other questions, just let us know!

Thanks,
Alex
