We currently now have social buttons on all pages except our home page. It would be much better for us to have a horizontal sharing bar floating to the left or right on all pages.... If its a module, which one and what position do we set?

Thanks so much,

If you take a look at the sourcecoast.com page, we have the JFBCSocialShare floated at the bottom right of every page.

If you want to start from how we have it, the settings on our site are:
Layout - Button Count
Orientation - Horizontal
Position - Float
Margin - 5px
Padding - 5px 0px 0px 5px
Background - #FFF
Float from Top - 3000
Float from Left - 3000

Then you can tweak the Float positions to get left or right, or orientation if you decide you want vertical, etc.

If this is not what you're looking for, please let me know. Otherwise that should get you started.

Thanks

1. The z-index on the div is set to 99. Right now it is scrolling behind your Featured Products. It's currently being set in /modules/mod_jfbcsocialshare/tmpl/default.php around line 16. Test it and set it to something like 1000, which looks better. And if that works for you, you can make a template override so this doesn't get overwritten if/when you upgrade JFBConnect.

2. You should go into your JFBCSocialShare module backend > Facebook Options and Google Options. Set the widths for both of these. I see on your page that the Facebook like button width is at 450px, which is why you have so much whitespace. That can be much lower, so that the area condenses.

I think if you play around with these two things, it'll look better and then whatever tweaking is left will just be a little bit of styles.

[Edited to note]
3. You can also remove the background color #FFF or make it something different. This might help you to distinguish what's going on better too.
