Upgrading JFBConnect 5.x to 6.1 on Joomla 2.5.x

We are upgrading site from JFBConnect 5.x to 6.1 on a Joomla 2.5.x site.
Searched for basic upgrade procedure, did not find anything other than install tutorial.

Links to upgrade procedure, prep would be helpful.

Wondering if any configuration information is lost, or do we just install and module auto-detects upgrade vs install setup?

Yes we have performed backups and are working on a test site prior to live site change.

Thanks

Our approach was to upgrade was;
>Install JFBConnect 6.1
>Run AutoTune
>Install SCLogin 4.1.2

Post Install of JFBConnect 6.1 AutoTune was launched.
Subscriber ID information was input
Settings Saved
Next Step
Save All Recommended Settings
NOTE: because this was being performed on a test site, the URL changed from www.sitename.com to www.sitename.com/upgradetest
NOTE: because of URL change, actual connection to Facebook App kicked back errors
Site Check
Error Check
Finish

Then we upgraded SCLogin

Upgrade appears to work but because the URL is different there is limited testing that can be performed.

There isn't any upgrade procedure because there isn't anything special to do. What you indicated is the proper approach: install JFBConnect just like it was new.

JFBConnect has a large installer routine which will detect what version you were on, perform any database updates that need to be performed from that version to the latest, and update all your files.

You should be good to go once upgraded, but of course, test test test.

If you run into any issues, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
