No, they are no longer valid. We recently updated the update XML files to notify users that they should update to JFBConnect v6.x The older JFBCComments, JFBCLike, etc modules that are shown there are no longer supported. They've all been replaced by the SCSocialWidget module which lets you create any of those widgets. It was too cumbersome to update each individual module in the past and manage all the differences, which is why we went to the one-module configuration using the SCSocialWidget.
What you should do is uninstall all of the JFBCxyz modules *except* the JFBCSocialShare module. That one is still supported and updated in the JFBC v6.x releases. That module, in case you don't know, is what we use to show the social share buttons in the bottom of every page of our site. There are multiple configuration options for that module to fit (most site's) needs.
I hope that helps explain, but if you have any questions, just let me know.
Thanks,
Alex
