Hi

I've just purchased this and still not quite clear what I can actually do.

I got the Social Package

I understand the registration features its the actual sharing of content that I am having difficulty with.

My understanding is my JomSocial members can share their update streams to Facebook and also share their Facebook updates on my site a reciprocal sort of thing.

Does this happen for Twitter, Google+ and Linkedin as well.

There's a video on my home page which I made for potential members to view so they know what they can do. Could you review this and let me know if I got it right and point me in the right direction on this please.

Pete,
Generally, what your video shows is possible... plus more. I'll try to cover most things quickly though:
1) When a user logs in with their social network credentials, their most recent status will be imported. That works for FB, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn.
2) When a user posts a status in JomSocial, if it's set to "Public", that will be posted to their Facebook account. We're planning an update that will also post that status to other (configurable) networks, excluding Google+. Google+ has a 'read-only' API, so we can't post anything to it.
3) In addition to just status updates, we have "Open Graph Actions". The best demo of that, if you haven't seen it, is our JomSocial integration video:
www.sourcecoast.com/joomla-facebook/jomsocial
You can learn more about Open Graph and how to configure it in the following links:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/open-graph/actions/
Specifically, there's an example configuration for auto-posting new image uploads into JomSocial to Facebook:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/open...msocial-photo-upload

I hope that helps explain some of the features we support. Should you have any other questions or clarifications, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
