Hi,
I'm using the very latest versions of both JFBConnect and jReviews. In jReviews, I've enabled auto tweet when new listing is submitted. Within my twitter profile, I've also enabled auto post on facebook page when a new tweet is posted. So whenever a new listing is submitted on the site, a new tweet and a new facebook post is published. Neat and clean! However, I'm having issues with the images. The sourcecost FB button image is getting posted everywhere in my facebook page instead of the default image that I've set in my jReviews. I'm seeing this problem only after updating to the latest version of JFBConnect.

My guess is that you have the Open Graph - JReviews plugin enabled, as that will try to set the Open Graph image for your pages. The Open Graph - Content plugin can also do the same thing since JReviews 'wraps' Joomla content. It depends on a few factors though.

Another possibility is that you've set a 'default' image to be used across your site. You can check your defaults in the JFBConnect -> Open Graph -> Configuration area. I'd recommend disabling any default image tags you may have set there, for now.

Can you tell me if either of those plugins is enabled? Also, can you let me know the URL of a page where the wrong image is being used? That will help us understand where things may be going wrong by seeing the actual tags.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Thanks for the reply. I've checked the backend and here are the findings:
1) Opengraph plugin - Disabled (Both jReviews & JFBConnect) - Please see attachment
2) jReviews Config - OpenGraph is enabled
3) JFBConnect OpenGraph - No Objects & Actions are created.

The problem happens only when there is auto posting either via Facebook itself or via Twitter to Facebook or via IFTTT to Facebook.

Hi,
Attached are 2 more snapshots one showing the auto-post that always uses the Facebook Button Image as the thumbnail and the other showing the proper thumbnail generating automatically when the URL is directly posted in the FB share box.
