Status update synchronisation

We're planning a feature like this for later this year. Currently, there are a few things that more user control over would be better. Choosing if status updates are pushed/pulled, avatars are updated, and even 'breaking' the connection between a user and their social networks are ideas we're planning for a release in a few months. It will *not* be in the next major release, but as we add more social network providers, we're realizing that we'll need to put more control in the hands of the users (or at least let admins decide if their users should have that control).

Sorry we don't have anything available yet in this area, but it is something we recognize as an area for improvement.
