Correct. The JFBCSocialShare module replaced the JFBCLike module. It has more options to enable just the Like button or to also add all the other social buttons with it. It has more options and improved styles and should be used instead of the JFBCLike module, which we no longer distribute with JFBConnect.

I hope that helps explain, but if you need more help, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

It took quite a while to find this. Upgrade notes would be a help. How would we know that the module was no longer used/supported? I thought you had an error in your install routine since the jfbclike is in the array, but isn't called for install.

Sorry for the confusion, and I'm glad you found what you were looking for.

We're constantly trying to improve our releases and making things less confusing. We could have made the Like swap out a little clearer, no doubt.

Just so you know, with the next release, we're actually planning one 'mega' module which will let you configure any of the available social modules in one place. It will let you select the provider (Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc) and the exact 'widget' and then show you the options for that widget. It should reduce complexity by not having to find the specific module you're looking for and also not require installing a bunch of extra modules that you may never use. It will also help us for development purposes because we have to manage just one module, which will allow it to do even more fancy things as it progresses.

I hope that helps explain, and thank you for your feedback. We'll try to make things more clear in the future.

Thanks,
Alex
