Last year I did a Facebook connect to my second account in my site.

Till now, it seems that my Facebook profile and this site's account are permanently connected each other. I can't break this connection! I want to connect my Facebook profile with my 1st site account because I don't use the 2nd one any more.

How can I "disconnect" my Facebook account from that profile? I can't find such an option?

I have v 5.2.1

If you're the administrator, you simply need to go to the Usermap area of JFBConnect. From there, find the user, check the box and click "Delete mapping".

For the end-user to be able to 'break' the link, we actually don't have that option right now. There used to be a method to do so, but it was removed mid-last year due to some complications. We're planning to offer a new way, from the Joomla Profile Editor on the front-end, for the user to break the connection to each social network, if they want.

I hope that helps,
Alex

5/5 reply. Thanks!
I always thought that my users would be completely deleted from that menu!

No problem. Glad we could help explain that. I guess we could probably make that more clear how the delete button works in the admin area.. it's just for connections only, not deleting the actual user.

Should you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
