Hello,

Currently on Joomla 2.5.16, and applied the com_jfbconnect_j2.5_v5.2.1 update. The update appears to have taken place, however since applying the Joomla Update is no longer working correctly. The following error is received.

Warning: fopen( www.sourcecoast.com/updates/jfbconnect.xml) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/03/9826403/html/libraries/joomla/http/transport/stream.php on line 125

I've tried reapplying the update and re-run Auto-Tune, but no change. Would you have a recommendation on how to correct this? Thank you.

Lars,
The file that's attempting to be opened does exist, and should work:
www.sourcecoast.com/updates/jfbconnect.xml

I'm not sure why your site is having difficulties reaching that URL. What I would suggest is:
* Uninstall JFBConnect - This will remove some files and disable your plugins, but your settings will not be deleted. This will also remove the entries from the Joomla Update table.
* Re-install JFBConnect - This will re-install the component and (hopefully) fix whatever problems are in the Joomla update table.

That process, again, shouldn't break your site or settings. I hope that helps get you going, but if you have the same problems after re-installing, let me know, and we'll gladly help how we can.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

On your recommendation, uninstalled JFBConnect administrator component then reinstalled. Problem went away. Thank you.

Awesome! I'm glad to hear that got you going. Should you need anything else, or have any suggestions for future improvements, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
