Hi,
I've used the Social Bundle for quite a lot now, recently update JFBConnect and JLinked to last version. Everything fine, except that no registration or else work anymore.

Link: www.gospeakenglish.com/ (use the buttons at the top)

The most important thing is the community builder profile integration, with the past versions, in the registration form there was a field for the selection of the profile type (CB Profile Pro) and now disappeared. Plus of that, no submit or register link work, they just reload the page. Don't know if the autologin work as before as I can't relate my account to facebook.

Thanks,
Andrea

Informations:
CB is 1.9 (not 1.9.1)
JFBConnect is 5.2.1
JLinked is 2.2.0
Joomla is 2.5.9

Community Builder Profile Integration is 5.2.0, JLinked show that last CB Profile Integration is 5.1.0. Same "error" for SCLogin (that I'm not using anyway), installed is 3.2.1 but available is 3.1.1 in JLinked.

Ok, the problem with CB Profile Pro field is ok now.

The problem of the redirect still remains and prevent any user to register and to login...how to resolve?

Andrea,
I'm glad you go the CB Profile Pro thing working.

For new user registration, the reason the "Register" button isn't working is because our validation is thinking that the username and password fields aren't filled out properly. Those fields are hidden on your form, but also not pre-populated by JFBConnect like they should be.

Can you check if you have a template override for the loginregister page of JFBConnect and, if so, disable it to see if that works. If that makes it work, you need to integrate the changes from the latest release into your template override.

Otherwise, please try displaying the username and password fields so that they can be edited by the user and test that way.

I hope that helps get you going,
Alex

Hi Alex,
thanks for the reply.

Yes, I think you are right with the username problem, I will fix it this week. But, cannot understand why the submit button (to the left) simply reload the page without relating the existing account to facebook/linkedin? That's not a empty field problem like the registration one...ideas?

The loginregister page is modified to reach the needs of my customer yes, but with the past version everything was ok, will look better into it.

Thanks,
Andrea

Andrea,
I'm not sure why the login side of the form works. I see you have "Email" listed where the Username is normally asked. Are you using an extension to let users login with usernames? JFBConnect should work with that, as we simply instruct Joomla to try and log the user in.. that could be the issue though. I'd test with using a real Joomla Username instead of the email address and see if that helps things.

Beyond that, simply integrating the changes from the loginregister template file may be all that's necessary, in case you're missing a change from the latest release.

Thanks,
Alex

Yes Alex,
you suggested right again thanks :)

The problem is the email field, it's actually the username field and it's working without any problem. Think I have everything I need to know now thanks, something is changed in the extension and so my last changes need some corrections.

Thanks again for the support,
Andrea

No problem for the help, Andrea. It's what we're here for! If you need anything else, or have any feedback, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
