Hey, is there a scripting option or a field that requires checking in order to get the option to "post to facebook" to appear for everyone, not just administrator?

I have tried looking at the script to see if the authority permission is wrong, but can't even find the script for it.

Jenni,
I just went to the page you linked to and the "Post to Facebook" checkbox is showing. Are you saying that it's not showing up for all users? We haven't heard of that issue, but will gladly help investigate however we can.

To do so, please let me know:
* What browser you're using
* If you're logged into your site or Facebook when you try to load the page.

Thanks,
Alex

I am using Chrome

When I am logged into facebook, it's fine.
However, I was logged in as a registered user and nothing.

My understanding was that there would be an option where I did not have to post to social media if I, as a registered user did not want to.

Is this correct?

Jenni,
The Facebook comment box is only available to make a post if you are logged into Facebook. If you aren't logged into Facebook, the user can see any comments that have been made, but won't be able to post a new one.. until they log in to Facebook.

Please note that the comment box does not change whether the user is logged into your site at all. All that matters is that the user is logged into Facebook.com, regardless of whether they've used their FB credentials to login to your site.

Once logged into Facebook.com, there should be an option to Post to Facebook. The user has the option to use that checkbox if they want the comment to show on their own Timeline.

I hope that helps,
Alex
