Hi,
I just renewed my subscription because JFBConnect suddenly stopped working on my site and downloaded and installed latest com_jfbconnect_j2.5_v5.2.1.zip but JFBConnect is still not working and I still see in the Extension manager updates that "JFBConnect 4.3.0 - Must be updated manually".

Any clue as to why it wold not work anymore now? How do I update it manually?

It sounds like you did just update manually by installing through the installation manager. In the Update manager, please use the Purge Cache and Refresh buttons to re-check the versions and available updates.

As for JFBConnect not working, can you give me more information about that? What isn't working: login, social buttons, open graph, etc? Are you getting any error messages or other information that may help us narrow things down?

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for the reply,

Ok I purged the cache and it doesn't show any new updates or message to manually update anything.

However JFBConnect is not working. I was only using JFBCComments, JFBCLike and JFBCFan and those modules are not showing up where I had them published; no error is shown either.

I see a like button on your home page under the video from JFBConnect. Can you point me to a page where those features are implemented and they aren't showing? We'll gladly help investigate once we can see the problem.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,
Thank you.
After seen your reply I checked on a different browser and JFBConnect its actually working as expected, just found avast antivirus installed a new plug in in firefox that blocks by default all social media traffic.

All is good, Thanks!
