Getting User's Information

Yes, you can get any information that the social networks provide. You can see an example in our new blog post about our JFBConnect v5.2 release, which adds Twitter integration for Joomla and lots of other features.

About half way down, there's an image in the EasySocial section showing how you configure profile import from the different networks.
