I can not figure this out at all. and dont have the time to read every page of this doc :( its really confusing.

things i want to achieve.

1.ability for people to like and shair the articles in k2
2. jomsocial =ability to post when a user joins a group adds a comment on a video adds a photo. ( if able ) when they add a friend or update there profile

now i watched the first video. and i go to developer and i set up the use article. and unlike in the video it dont show me how it will look
Unable to Generate Story.

then when i debug the main page. Object at URL 'took out url for developing purpose of type 'website' is invalid because the given value 'media/k2/items/cache/71f67488b0857639cee631943a3fc6fa_M.jpg' for property 'og:image:url' could not be parsed as type 'url'.

also added the facebook like buttons to the items. and when you clik to shair it just pops up a white box with nothing on it

If you're getting a Open Graph debug error, that would likely cause the Like buttons to not work as well. Can you post (or Private Message) a URL where we can see the page of your site that you're testing with? From there, we should be able to narrow things down.

For the Open Graph Actions, the generate preview will only work after you've posted one of the actions to a test user's Timeline. It's then generated based on that test post so you can see how it will look for all of your users once submitted and approved.

The problem that Facebook is having with your home page (and likely others) is from the following tags:
<meta property="article:published_time" content="2013-10-30T02:32:26-05:00">
<meta property="article:modified_time" content="-001-11-30T00:00:00-06:00">
<meta property="article:section" content="Strange Music">
Those aren't being inserted by JFBConnect. I'm assuming that's from K2, but I can't be sure and I've never seen those tags from it before.

I'm not seeing those tags on your "Support Us" page either, and that doesn't look to be from K2.. which also helps narrow it down to being a K2 thing.

Can you check the K2 settings and see if there are any settings in the general permissions or the category/item layouts that you've enabled that may be inserting that information? Alternatively, if there's another plugin or module you have that tries to add extra metadata?

I just went through the K2 settings and couldn't find anything that would be doing what I'm seeing, but it's possible I missed something.

Force 'item modified date' as URL timestamp on image paths i see that in k2 parameters but its not enabled

Are you using an SEF extension on your site, or just the built-in Joomla SEF URLs? I still can't find anywhere that K2 would be adding those. Some SEF extensions add Open Graph and other meta tags, and it's possible those are interfering.

Let me know. Again, it's definitely not JFBConnect adding the problematic tags, but we'll gladly help try to narrow things down for you.

i did get another meta tag generator but this problem was before that. i thought that might help generate correct tags. but i sent you admin access so you can see whats in the backend as well to help me narrow it down. so check your pm when you got time thanks buddy

jfb connect is killing my website :( i switched to jfb connect from spider facebook that component worked fine but i saw alot of good talk about jfb connect and looked into it then watched some videos and everything seemed so easy. now i have a site that no one can login facebook like buttons dont work and theres like only one person here supporting this :( alex is awesome and very friendly but with the amount of posts with problems one person can not answer them all and we suffer from this. my problem may be from something else but still i been trying to research this and its giving me nothing but a headache in the videos all websites should have some social connectivity i agree. but all websites should not have to launch then have something that is not working. i had a facebook login button it was working then blam now that button dont work either. and in firefox worked fine but ie it didnt. so that was killing a percentage of users. :( even if i am not joomla or mtv or a huge site. all my work on a website is made to be garbage because of this i cant put blame on jfb connect all together because it could be another component causing this but i do have a major complaint about a high end product having one person supporting it.
