I have the social bundle recently installed on a 2.5 joomla.

The update says that SourceCoast Extensions Library for JFBConnect and JLinked - Compatible with JFBConnect component 5.0 needs updating.

I get the following errors tryng to applied updates...

Type d'archive inconnu
Le chemin de mise à jour n'existe pas
COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_ : erreur de mise à jour.

I have checked that the SourceCoast Subscription ID is saved in both JFBconnect and JLinked config.

I have tried refreshing the update cache.

Other components (such as JCE editor) do update without any problem.

What's wrong ?

Yannick,
It's an issue with our install packages right now as we bring JFBConnect and JLinked closer together. Around the end of this year or early next year, the features of JLinked will be integrated into JFBConnect.

Until then, the best thing to do is install JLinked first and then install JFBConnect aftewards. JFBConnect has the latest library package included, so updating it 2nd will bring everything up-to-date. Then, just disregard the JLinked red version number stating your version isn't correct, as what you have installed at that point will be newer.

Sorry for the confusion, and I hope that helps explain,
Alex

ok but I already installed the components and made some settings.

Do I need to uninstall Jlinked and JFBConnect and reinstalled them in the right order ? If yes, I am going to loose all the settings I have done ??

You won't need to uninstall and you won't ever lose settings. JFBConnect and JLinked retain their settings when you upgrade, whether you uninstall first or just install again like it was new. That would be a big pain if we didn't :)

I hope that helps,
Alex

I did reinstall JFBConnect and the update warning is gone.

All JFBConnect Extension Check are greeen, including the SCLogin 3.1.2 component.

On the JLinked Extension check, SCLogin 3.1.2 is read and it says it should be 3.1.1

Should I worry about this ?

No, don't worry about it. v3.1.2 is the correct version. JLinked just thinks the latest is 3.1.1, which is actually older.

So, you're good to go. Sorry for the confusion,
Alex
