Hi Alex

Facebook registration, not importing fields, no picture or any other profile fields.
user profile keep all blank.

What registration mode are you using, Normal (where the user sees the profile fields during registration) or Automatic (where the account is created automatically)?

Also, what are you integrating with (JomSocial, CB, etc) and do you have that Social Profile plugin enabled and configured properly?

I know you've been a customer for a while, so I'm assuming this has worked before. Has anything changed recently?

Hi Alex,
I use jomsocial with normal registration, but i can not see profile fields to select during facebook registration,
about social plugin enable, look like there're not such plugin installed i can see this message: No JFBConnect Profile plugins are currently enabled. i dont know why
If you need to acces to the admin site please let me know how to write the admin login info.

When you install JFBConnect v5.1, all of the social profile plugins are installed too if you have those third party extensions installed. If you installed JomSocial before JFBConnect, the correct social profile plugin should have been installed. Please go to the Plugin manager and filter by "socialprofile" types and then enable the plugin if there.

If it's not there, try to reinstall JFBConnect again and it should show.

Finally i get it with this name: socialprofile thanks, after enable the plugin i tested with a new facebook user and avatar and some fields was ok, but in case of old site users, when they try to identify with facebook nothing change, i mean no import avatar status or any field. what i miss in this case?

Other thing:

Wich file i need to locate to modify those strings

about the last post
I'd like to know where to get those strings in order to change
example in the facebook registration form:

user=(usuarios spanish) i want to change email intead of user, because in the site i have email as username, so i can not get this in the joomla, jomsocial or JFBC .ini file, please need your help.

Hi Alex,

I'm reposting my unanswer ticket, what you told me by email: Even if my subscription is expired, you told me to repost bye email ,and also i'd like to download the las JFBC last version, i'll renew very soon.

That your replay email copy:
Our server time is based on GMT. So, your subscription was purchased, and expired, at 21:29 GMT. If you'd like, we'll gladly extend the subscription a few hours so that you can download it again.

As for your support question that wasn't answered, just re-post in that topic and someone will be with it. It's uncommon for a question to go unanswered, but it does unfortunately does happen.
If you see the screenshot i need to locate thos strings in orther to change someting, in this case username= usuario in spanish, i need to change usuario by email, but i dont know where are the .ini file including those string that show the facebook registration form.

Sorry for the delay. First off, I extended your subscription through tomorrow at midnight (GMT). Please download the newest release while it's available to you.

As for your other questions:

That's normal right now. JFBConnect only imports data when a user logs in using those social networks, not when they update their account information. So, if the user does the login for an existing Joomla user, the *next* time they do a normal login with that social network, their information will be updated. We're hoping to update the information when they perform the connect, but there are a few technical reasons why it's just not possible right now.

Those field names com from the xx_YY.xx-YY_com_users.ini file for your language.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for extend my subscrition, i dowlnoad and installed and is working fine, i'll renew very soon, about the string to change i navigated for diferents .ini file in component community and JFBConnect but i can no see it, well maybe we'll talk about after i renew, Thank anyway.

Glad to hear you got the newest release. As for the strings, the are in the com_users.ini file, not JFBConnect or community. Please check there and you should find what you're looking for.
