Hi,
I've just updated JReviews and I've been advised to replace the overrides files with the new files. There is a file called login.thtml that allows unlogged in users to login or signup when they are leaving a review.

I've placed the code {JFBCLogin} in what appears to be the same place of the new file but nothing happens.
This is what it looks like on my test site (test.goodtalktnt.com) with the jReviews upgrade and the new login.thtml file

Here's what it looks like on my live site (goodtalktnt.com) where no upgrades have been made yet.

Any idea why the code doesn't work on the test site?

That tag still works. Since it's showing nothing (not even the raw tag), try the following:
* Put TEST{JFBCLogin}TEST on the page. If TESTTEST doesn't show, then you're probably editing the wrong file
* Check if the Admin Render Key is set in the Social -> Misc area of JFBConnect. If so, make sure you're using that.
* Clear your Joomla caches, or disable caching while testing.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Tried it. Caching is disabled on my site and no change. I do not see TESTTEST. Also looked at Social->Misc and don't see any setting like an Admin Render key. See screencast.com/t/PlaxOFX9

If TESTTEST isn't showing, that means that the file you're editing isn't the one that's displaying the page. JFBConnect wouldn't remove the TESTTEST text. You'll need to determine which file is the correct one to use and/or why that file isn't being parsed properly.

There's not much I can do in that situation if no output you add is working though, sorry to say.

Good luck, and keep us posted on what you find,
Alex

Seems the problem was placement in the file. See what this guy at JReviews said. It worked
"It looks like the problem is the position where you placed the code, it depends on your settings.
Try moving the code like this: screencast.com/t/E8NC12baBLmV

Awesome! Glad to hear you got it going and glad the jReviews dev could help. They're a great company for development and support as well.

As always, should you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
