The SSL requirement for Page Tabs and Canvas areas still applies. We can't fix that. The change with this release is that the SSL requirement for Facebook Requests/Invitations that user's can send to their friends to let them know about your site has been removed. Now, you can configure a Request and it will work even if you don't have SSL installed.
The Pinterest sharing button can be added with the {SCPinterest} tag or enabled in your Joomla content in the Social configuration area. The v5.2 release should have a new social sharing module which can add all the buttons more easily to other parts of your site.
