Hi

The JFBConnect - FB Wall Integration is not going to be used latest JFBC - so it should be deleted right?

but using the latest JFBConnect Component 5.1.1 - it is not publishing on Jomsocial nor in facebook.

what is wrong :) ?

The message and image settings for adding it / showing it on facebook automatically when logging in and logging out - I dont find it anymore - where is it / what can be done to achieve this again ?

The JFBConnect - FB Wall Integration plugin was rolled into the Social Profiles - JomSocial plugin. To post JomSocial status to Facebook, there's a setting in the Profiles area for "Push status updates"

This was removed in the v5.1 release because it violated policy updates that Facebook made in late 2012 that stated a user should be able to edit any posts being made on their behalf or have the option to disable the post before it's being made. There's no way to do this during the login process, so we had to remove the feature.

Throughout the whole v5.0 release there was a notice at the top of the Wall Posts section describing the change and recommending against using that feature.

When Facebook made that change, they introduced Open Graph Actions and recommend using actions for activity on your site and they can be posted without user approval ahead of time.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex
