I just purchased and installed JFBConnect yesterday. I'm using it with JomSocial 3.0 and there are no profiles showing up in the Profile tab.

I found and reinstalled the JomSocial plugin and enabled it, and it still doesn't show up.

Searching this board has not helped.

Any ideas?

Do you have JomSocial installed, and if so, what version? JFBConnect won't show the profile sections for components that you don't have installed (or we can't detect for some reason).

If you're seeing nothing there and the Social Profiles - JomSocial plugin is enabled, it means there is some issue detecting or using that plugin that we'd have to investigate further.

Let me know the JomSocial version and we can go from there.

I mentioned in my post that I have JomSocial 3.0, and the JomSocial plugin is installed and enabled in my plugins.

It is not showing up under profiles in jfbConnect.

Sorry I missed the version number in your original post. It still boils down to JFBConnect not properly detecting JomSocial for some reason, and we'll have to get to the bottom of that.

Would it be possible to private message us admin credentials for your site? If so, please use the mail icon under my name and we'll figure out what's going wrong. We haven't heard of the Profiles area not showing before, so I don't have any specific answers I can provide right now without seeing your setup.

Thanks for the PM with your credentials. Your issues is fixed. The Social Profiles - JomSocial profile plugin was installed on your system, but not enabled in the Joomla Plugin Manager. You should be able to configure it now.

Okay, I guess there were two JomSocial related plugins, as I'm sure I had enabled one of them. At any rate, it appears to be working now, thanks a lot!
