Hi,

I have the following problem:
The jQuery 1.9 is automatically loaded on the page whenever the System - JFBCSytem is enabled, that is the default setting of this plugin.
My problem is that it conflicts with my Virtuemart Cart, that requires jQuery 1.8.x in order to work. Is there any way to select jQuery 1.8.x for this plugin?

Thanks in advance.

7of9,
We downgraded the jQuery version in the latest releases to version 1.8.3. Please make sure you're using JFBConnect v5.1.1 or SCLogin v3.1.1 and we'll include the version you're looking for.

I hope that helps, but if not, let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Here is my configuration:
Required Extensions Installed Available Status
JFBConnect 5.1.1 5.1.1 This extension is installed and published.
SCLogin 3.1.1 3.1.1 This extension is installed and published.

What do I have to do in order to resolve my problem?

Can you tell me what URL we can see the 1.9 version of jQuery being loaded? With those version numbers, we shouldn't be loading jQuery 1.9, and should instead be loading 1.8.3.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

My website is www.allmassage.gr
Just try to add any product to the cart (ie from this page: www.allmassage.gr/en/massage/china) and then click the cart at the top / right. You will see that it does not work.
When I deactivate the JFBCSytem plugin, it works fine. The Joomlart technicians (since this is a Joomlart template), verified that this problem is caused by jQuery 1.9, after I gave them Super User access.

Thanks in advance

We're not loading jQuery on that page. There is an inclusion of jQuery 1.9, but it looks to be from K2 and not JFBConnect.

JFBConnect *is* adding the Bootstrap Javascript library, which is also being included by your template, and that may be causing the conflict. I'd recommend trying to disable our "Include Bootstrap" settings in both JFBConnect and the SCLogin module to see if that helps.

Let us know how that goes,
Alex

Thanks Alex, that did it. However I did not have any problem with JFBConnect's previous version.

Until v5.1, we weren't using jQuery or Bootstrap at all. The v5.1 release moved from Mootools to Bootstrap/jQuery. Generally, it's gone smoother than we expected, though there are a few compatibility issues we'll be ironing out with the next few releases.

Glad to hear that got you going though and should you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
