Auto Login Not Working

It depends on how you're testing. The Auto-Login feature will only work if the user is just visiting the page for the first time in a while and hasn't recently logged out of your site. The best way to test is to open a new browser (or an incognito/stealth tab in your current one), login to Facebook, and then visit your site.

We disable auto-login after the user has logged out to not infuriate your users by re-logging them in automatically.

We've had the auto-login timeout feature for at least 6 months (since v5.0.0) and I think even longer. You shouldn't have been automatically logged in before right after logging out. If you were, *that* was a bug. The behavior you describe now sounds correct.
