Chanuka,
There's a couple reasons that the error you provided could be appearing. Almost all are very easy to fix, but we'd need to know more about your site.

* Can you let us know what version of JFBConnect you are using?
* You mention migration. What are you migrating, Joomla versions and/or JFBConnect versions?

Once we have that, we should be able to help get you going.

Also, please post from the account you have an active subscription to JFBConnect from. Priority support is for active subscribers only.

Thanks,
Alex

Chanuka,
v4.1.1 of JFBConnect is almost a year and a half old. There are a lot of improvements that have been made since then and many changes to Facebook itself. We don't test such an old release and I don't know what issues you may be encountering.

On top of that, Joomla 1.7 has been unsupported for more than a year now. There are multiple critical security vulnerabilities in that version as well as many bugs that have been fixed in 2.5. Joomla 2.5 should be a 1-click update from Joomla 1.7, and we'd highly recommend do that for your new site.

If you need assistance from us, we'll gladly help. However, priority support requires an active subscription. That subscription will also allow you to download the latest release, v5.0.1, and will likely fix your issues due to the above mentioned changes.

I hope that helps,
Alex
