Sclogin issue was created by alegag

As object i have a strange issue with sclogin.
When i close and open again browser i discover that i'm unlogged! Strange thing is that i can see me on "users online tables" (so my session is not expired).
with standard login module i'm still logged in.
My joomla version is Joomla 2.5.14
My sclogin version is 3.0.2 (i've seen an update is available but i need to be sure can solve this issue).
I'm running to Jomsocial 3.0 with Jfbconnect integration enabled

Not sure why that would be, honestly. The SCLogin module uses Joomla's core user management system. The module itself doesn't actually log users in or out, we just pass along that information to the user component, just like the standard mod_login does.

When you close your browser, that usually deletes the session cookie in your browser that's used by Joomla to look you up. Joomla doesn't know that that cookie's been deleted on your browser though, so it still shows that session as active until it automatically expires.

The only things I can think of that would be causing a difference is if you're using the Remember Me plugin in Joomla. Again, that's a standard plugin and we just load it, but maybe we're doing something wrong if it's working with Joomla's login module and not the SCLogin module. Let me know if you're using the Remember Me feature.

Also, you mention "with standard login module i'm still logged in. ". What do you mean by this.. does the mod_login module simply have to be enabled, are you logging in through this module, etc. If we know how you're testing, that will help us narrow things down.

Yes of course i mean the built in login module of joomla work.
I opened browser after several time and i'm still logged.
Remember Me plugin si active.
If this can help when i publish the standard login module "remember me" option is just selected. On Sclogin not.. and also if i check that box i'm logged out when i open again browser.
I'm going to think cha me "jomsocial" integration that cause issue? Because also on jomsocial login (separate from standard login) this box is disabled and when i close and open again the browser i discover that i'm logged out

ok i had some other test.
Seems that issue was not in Sclogin but Jomsocial login function.
if i disalble Jfbconnect integration in jomsocial administrator panel sclogin work without problems.
If i try to login in "frontend" Jomsocial login not work and when i close browser i'm logged out.
Maybe you can help me disabling that fields on homepage? So user not use that module.. i want to use just sclogin right now

To remove the username/password features from the JomSocial home page, you need to edit the /components/com_community/templates/default/frontpage.guests.php file. Hopefully, you can find the fields you're looking to remove in there.

well! At last i solved my issue deleting part of code for login through Jomsocial on homepage.
At that point manual login was working but login with facebook still have same problem (log out after browser closing also if session was still open).
So i ran autotune and at SITE CHECK there was a warning that another app was using FB Javascript.
I disabled EVERYTHING in jomsocial facebook integration and set everything on NO
Now Jfbconnect work great and Sclogin too.. after i close browser i'm still logged.
Consider to check this issue about jomsocial because i noticed that you was really happy about this integration jfbconnect/jomsocial.. but for me right now was doing only trouble.
Maybe is only issues regarding me... but just in case .. give a look. I'm satisfacted enough with only Jfbconnect that seems stable and functional

Sorry for the delay. We're already doing more testing with JomSocial before our next v5.1 release, due out later this month. In general, if you're logged in through Facebook, when you close your browser your session is destroyed. JFBConnect does have the "Automatically Log Facebook Users In" setting which should log them in.

Either way, we'll test a lot more and, if we can fix anything before v5.1, we definitely will. If not, or you install v5.1 and still have issues, let us know. We'll have a lot more time to deep-dive into possible issues once this upcoming version is out.
