FB button appears then disappears and I can't login

It was likely a temporary glitch with Facebook itself. They push out updates to their Javascript library all the time and, every once ina while, minor glitches are introduced. Fortunately, they are usually fixed very quickly.

If the problem comes back, let us know. My guess is that it was a temporary issue that's already been fixed on their end.

We have plans for the 5.2 release (late September/October) to use an image button on the Login page instead of the Facebook Javascript button that's currently being used. That will take one more point-of-failure out of the chain when their Javascript does have issues.
