Neil,
You nailed it! Good sleuthing on the differences between the two login modules. If you go into the SCLogin module and into the "Advanced Options" area. In the "Module Class Suffix" box, enter " formlogin" (no quotes, but make sure there is a leading space there). That, for me, makes the module appear exactly where I think you want it.
As for why the modal popup isn't working, it's because your including a lot of JQuery libraries, and some are incompatible with others.
* The template is including v1.5.2 which is very old
* K2 is including v1.8
* Our SCLogin module is including v1.9.1
1.9.1 and 1.8 are completely compatible I believe. However, your template is using some jQuery browser detection in the following file:
www.wingchun-kungfu.co.uk/jupdate/templa...mforest-jf-chrome.js
That browser detection logic has been removed from later versions of jQuery (1.8+) and, because of that, the following error is being thrown:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'msie' of undefined
That error is preventing further Javascript from executing, including our modal popup.
You can try disabling the jQuery inclusion options in the SCLogin module and K2 parameters. That may work, but may cause other issues. Otherwise, you'll need to investigate how to fix that joomforest-jf-chrome.js file to not use the old JQuery calls that don't exist any more.
I hope that helps you narrow things down, but if you need anything else from us, just let us know.
Thanks,
Alex
