Topic-icon Change height and width of JFBComment iframe

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to change the height (from 199px to 130px) and width (from 550px to 610px) of the iframe for the comments and where I would be able to do that? I used Chrome's 'Inspect Element' to take some screenshots. This way the iframe would fit the width of the body of the template and by changing the height I would be able to get rid of the 'Facebook social Plugin' link.

Thank you,
Tony

You won't want to change the height. Once you fix that height, it may get rid of that text at the bottom that you don't like, but it also won't grow as comments are added. That would break the functionality of the module altogether. It's also against Facebook's terms to hide their little branding, but that's sort of besides the point.

As for the width, that can be configured in the Social configuration area of JFBConnect or in the module parameters for the Comments box. It depends on if you added that comment box or if it's being added automatically. That will hopefully help you narrow it down, but if not, let me know how you've added the comment box to that page, and we'll gladly help you get the width right.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

thank you for the quick reply. That put me on the right track. I am adding this automatically in Mosets Tree listings and added {JFBCComments width=610}, which was of course explained in your configuration guide. I won't mess with the height :-)

Thank you,
Tony

Tony,
No problem for the help. I'm glad our support and documentation helped you do what you were looking for. Should you need anything else, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
