Hello. Please could you tell me if the new SCLogin module has some known conflict with youtheme template.
And when you think to release the stable version.

Thanks

Best regards

The 3.0.0 stable version was released yesterday. We can't test with every theme out there, but we've done a lot of testing with many different providers. The 3.0 release has great new looks and features. It will also be included in the next release of JFBConnect and JLinked, so it's definitely planned for most users to upgrade to it.

It should work with YouTheme templates, but if you run into issues, let us know. Additionally, if there are big problems, you can re-install the main JFBConnect component which will 'downgrade' the SCLogin module back to v2.0.

If you do install it, we'd love your feedback on how it works, any problems you have, or any suggestions for improvements you may have.

Thanks,
Alex

Updated it on our site www.kohtao.asia Unfortunately it caused the whole site to fail (white blank screen), so we had to go back to version 2.0 very quickly. Running joomla 2.5.11 and template is from Rockettheme.

Peter

Peter,
Not sure what would have caused the white page errors. That means there is a fatal PHP error on the page, and we haven't heard of that with the 3.0.0 release of the SCLogin module. We did a pretty extensive beta test of the module and had lots of feedback, and there's lots of people using the new module already without issue.

With that said, lets get you going. The way to determine what's going wrong is to go to your Joomla Global Configuration area and set Error Reporting to 'Maximum' and GZip compression 'off'. Then, re-install the SCLogin module. On the white page, there should be a PHP error message. Let us know what that error is, and we should be able to narrow down the cause and provide a fix.

Sorry for the troubles, and thanks for your patience,
Alex

The same problem here with Bang2Joom template. When I updated the module to v3.0.0, the login page when blank. So I reinstalled the whole component to rollback the module to v2. Hope this is going to be solved in the next update! thanks!

Gev,
We can't fix what we don't know about. Can you follow the instructions in the post above yours for enabling Error Reporting and turning off GZip compression. Then, let us know what error messages show. With that information, we can investigate what might be wrong, but otherwise, we don't know what's happening that's specific to your site.

Thanks,
Alex
