Upgrading older extension - JFBCContent, JFBCSystem JFBConnect Faceboo was created by cpaschen

I've got an older site I took over for a client.
It had a somewhat older version of JFB Facebook extensions installed.

I've managed to install the main JFBC Facebook component and the extensions that I found in the installation zip; however, I'm still getting notices that some of the old plugins are not updated.

I've done quite a bit of searching here but can't find anything that addresses these specific plugins and how to get them updated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you installed the JFBConnect v5.0.0 component, that should have also updated the JFBC - Content, JFBC - User and JFBC - System plugins. Those are all included in the JFBConnect installer and are updated automatically on installation (or upgrade).

If those are not the right version, try:
* Hitting "Purge Cache" and the "Find Updates" to make sure that Joomla isn't just confused as to the current version you have and most recent available
* Installing the main JFBConnect component file again.

The JFBCProfiles - Community Builder plugin has been discontinued. All of the JFBCProfile plugins were for older versions. The 5.0 series of JFBConnect uses "Social Profile" plugins which are compatible with JLinked (for LinkedIn) and JFBConnect (for Facebook). You can uninstall any JFBCProfile plugins you have installed and just make sure you have the comparable Social Profile plugin installed.
