Can you go into the Configuration -> Login/Logout tab of JFBConnect, check the setting you have for "New User Redirection:". Check the following:
* The menu item looks correct and isn't something like "menu_item_root", which is an invalid entry, but a possible selection in some cases.
* The menu item you selected is not an "External" link type in the menu manager. Right now, there appears to be issues with External link type menu items as the redirection
If that doesn't narrow things down, please try a different menu item or disabling the redirection altogether to see if that fixes the problem. If so, let us know what you changed and we'll help you to restore that setting.
