The posting to wall vs Activity Log is answered in the post above. Basically, Facebook chooses where it goes based on social relevance. That can be the wall, ticker, friends news feed, and a variety of other places.

As for the album with the 'Home' description, can you let me know a URL where we can see the album at?

Also, in the Activity Log, click the white circle to the right of the action and select "Always show on Timeline". Then, check your Timeline and see if it looks better there. The Activity log is meant to be a short list of actions. More details are displayed in the other social channels, like your Timeline.

The problem is that that page isn't public. Facebook 'scans' the pages on your site, like a search engine would. If your page is restricted, then they won't be able to see the proper Open Graph values that we insert into the page, again, just like a search engine wouldn't be able to.

In that case, the Open Graph action can be posted to the user's Activity Log, but the data going along with it won't be correct. For instance, on that page when you're not logged in, the browser title is "Home", which would explain where that value is coming from.

We're investigating a way to let Open Graph tags work when on a registered page. That's very difficult and not something Facebook supports outright, but we have ideas on how to accomplish it in Joomla. Unfortunately, I don't have a timeline on when that would be available.
